Before I was even engaged and before I even picked out who I wanted to be my bridesmaids, I knew I wanted my girls in Lauren James Bridesmaids Dresses. I’ve always loved the feminine detail of the Livingston dress from Lauren James. The big bow and classic seersucker just screamed southern wedding to me. When Jared proposed and we were both coincidentally wearing seersucker I knew it was a sign.
Because I knew exactly what I wanted it made everything so much easier. I ordered everyone’s dresses for them to make the process as seamless as possible. I wanted to cut down any confusion or possible mistakes.
A couple of the girls made minor alterations to adjust straps or sew bra cups into the dress so they didn’t have to worry about sticky boobs. Aside from one minor panic moment, everyone’s dresses fit perfect and they looked fabulous!
My favorite part about the Lauren James Bridesmaids dresses is they flattering on everyone! You would think because the back is so open and revealing that it would make it unflattering, but because the bow and the straps it really camouflages any problem area. The waist line also played a big part in making everyone look their slimmest. Plus the dress had pockets!
I know that this dress was not everyone’s style, but all five of my girls were so sweet and never complained about the dress. One of my girls even had to buy the same exact dress in a different color for another wedding she was in, but didn’t complain at all. The dress was about $125 which is definitely on the lower end of bridesmaid dresses from what I’ve experienced.
I really think the girl’s dresses played a big part in making the overall wedding feel cohesive. When picking out bridesmaid’s dresses you really have to think about everyone’s shape and the overall theme of the wedding to make sure 1.) everyone will feel comfortable and 2.) the dresses will add to theme and not stick out.

Hi there! I ordered this dress and everything fits me great except for the ribcage seam – It’s a little too tight. Did this problem occur with any of your bridesmaids?
I have had tons of problems with trying to order for bridesmaids dresses and or keeping in touch and having them respond. Did you have any issues at all?

I had no trouble at all! However I ordered straight from the website because luckily, all the dresses I needed were still in stock. When is your wedding? Are you on a time crunch? I recommend calling! They are great at answering the phones!
