Oh my goodness! Where did June even go? July 4th is almost here and if you are like me you are completely unprepared. I passed a fireworks stand on the side of the road and thought why are they selling fireworks. That should give you some indication to where my head is at. Needless to same I am in need of a last minute July 4th Outfit.
My Instagram is currently filled with other bloggers recommending outfit ideas, and nothing against them, but let’s be real I am not going to be wearing a gorgeous gingham maxi dress or heading to the mall to buy something new just for the fourth of July.
My July 4th will be spent on the road back to Arkansas from Texas. So when I was thinking about what to wear for Independence Day, I picked out a basic white tee, jeans shorts and made the outfit festive with these gingham espadrilles from Target and a red statement earring. Easy Peasy!
This outfit would be perfect for a good ole’ summer night watching fireworks or a BBQ. It would be so easy to throw on for a casual night after spending the day at the pool.
So if you are stuck on what to wear, have no fear keep it simple and some accessories you already have in your closet!
I love that you shared something you don’t have to necessarily go out and purchase! That makes so much more sense : ) especially when you won’t necessarily be wearing something red, white and blue the rest of the year. haha! Love those earrings!!

Love this! I’m with you – first, I have no idea where the time went, and second, I’m all about the casual looks for the 4th! Watching the fireworks in a tee and denim shorts is perfect.
