One thing about me is if I’m in charge of hosting a party I am going to do it big, so when it came time to throw my sister’s bachelorette party I went all out! She’s a pretty low-key gal. She doesn’t really drink or party so she wanted a weekend surrounded by her friends having some good old fashion fun. When Is tarted thing through details I thought a camp theme bachelorette party would be perfect! I was thinking Parent Trap vibes and lucky for me my in-law’s own an airbnb on Lake Hamilton in Hot Spring, Arkansas. We had the theme and location now it was time to get planning for the Ultimate Camp Theme Bachelorette Party.
How to Throw the Ultimate Camp Theme Bachelorette Party
I started by putting together a mood board so I could really begin to think of all the elements and how I wanted to party to come to life. From there, I sent over my mood board to Natalie Fuson Design to help me with a custom logo for the weekend. She perfectly executed my idea and this was really the staple that tied the party together from the color scheme, the vibe and I was able to add the logo on large and small details to really be the thread throughout the weekend.
To give you an idea, this custom logo ran me about $160 but was a crucial part of the weekend. If you are looking for something less custom or more affordable I recommend playing in Canva or checking out Etsy for some out-of-the-box bach party logos.
Agenda for the Ultimate Camp Theme Bachelorette Party
We had originally planned for the weekend to be Friday-Sunday but since some of the girls have flexible jobs, we had half the group come on Thursday evening and half come Friday.
To kick off the weekend we had a BBQ dinner featuring grilled chicken, corn on the cob, and broccoli. After we all hung around talking and catching up and looking at swag bags.
The next morning we woke up took a nice long boat ride and then enjoyed some brunch. Brunch for a large party can be tricky so I kept it simple with a variety of bagels, cream cheese, bacon fruit and, of course, mimosas! After brunch, everyone hopped in the water for a lake day. By the time we got out and started getting ready the rest of the crew arrived for dinner.
For dinner, we went to a bar and grill on the water and wore matching t-shirts. This was the perfect way to end a day in the water. Post dinner, we had a little lingerie shower for the bride. Each girl brought a little something and she had to guess who brought what. We then ended the night with some games and friendship bracelet-making.
On Saturday, we went downtown to brunch at Hotel Hale. This was the bachelorette party spot, it’s quaint but they can easily accommodate larger parties, have a great brunch, and great cocktails! We then popped in the visitor center in Downtown Hot Springs to tour a historic bathhouse, we felt the natural hot springs and then did some damage shopping. After shopping, we had some free time so some girls took naps, read books, hung out and some got back in the water.
For the final night, we all wore black with the bride in all white, and headed to the casino for a nice dinner and some gambling. We had reservations at The Bugler a new restaurant that I would 100% recommend. Amazing service, fabulous food, and great atmosphere. From there we spent the rest of the night at the casino. Most girls had about $20-60 to play with which lasted a few hours. Sadly I left with nothing but a few girls walked away with winning earnings!
Sunday morning we cleaned up, packed everything up and headed out! The best part about Hot Springs is there is so much to do and it totally fits the camp vibe!
Ultimate Camp Theme Bachelorette Party Swag Bags
Luckily, I work full time for a company specializing in bachelorette party swag bags so I hooked all the girls up with personalized goodies along with my friends at Rifle Paper Co sending some goodies as well. I also wanted us to have custom buttons to wear when we were at dinner and walking around downtown so my friend Jordan made buttons for us that had our logo again tying everything back to the camp theme bachelorette party!
Swag bags are definitely not needed but this was a fun touch to surprise everyone with and I wanted to make sure everything was practical so the girls could use the items over again. By having everything personalized in the colors rather than having items say “bridesmaid” or “bach weekend” this made it way more fun for the girls to use post-weekend and still remember the fun they had!

It’s all in the details!
From the buttons to the trail mix bar and the friendship bracelets and flag the details really tied the full theme together! You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have the Ultimate Camp Theme Bachelorette Party it’s how you plan it and how the details come together. A big impact that was inexpensive was having the logo printed on stickers and putting them on trail mix bags and cups. This was a small detail that made a big impact! I also had a custom flag made for about $20 which made a HUGE impact on the party. People loved taking photos in front of it and the bride was able to take it home!
This theme was so fun and so different! It definitely beats any penis-themed weekend with tacky decor! Everyone had a blast and since the Airbnb was covered by in-laws each girl walked away paying about $220 for the full weekend (not including meals out).
