One of my favorite parts of my wedding day was sending Jared his gift. We both decided we were going to get each other something special on our big day. I had my mom go deliver Jared’s gift over to him and had our photographer capture the moment and vice versa.
When choosing Jared’s gift I wanted something that would be sentimental and something that we could pass down to our kids on their wedding day and could live on in the family for years to come. I found this beautiful custom etched whiskey decanter set with matching tumblers on Etsy. I then paired it with a sentimental bottle of TX Bourbon. This bottle is pretty rare and is the only bourbon distilled in Fort Worth. Since this was where are roots are, it seemed very appropriate. I also threw in some bourbon bears from SugarFina and a special handwritten note.
Back when Jared and I first started dating he gave me a gold monogram necklace, so for the day of the wedding he gifted me with a new 24k gold monogram necklace to match my new name. He also gave me a pair of sunglasses to wear on our honeymoon in St. Lucia.
This was such a special moment for both of us and I had so much searching for the perfect gift for Jared. If you are getting married, I highly recommend doing this with your significant other.
