Well ladies, it’s been a month since I took my first barre class at Smart Barre Camp Bowie and I must say I actually enjoy it. I NEVER thought I would be the one to say I like to exercise buuuut I do! I have gone three times a week every week, well except for one week where I only went twice, but hey that’s a lot better than I was doing. *cough” zero times a week *cough*
Smart Barre has been a wonderful experience so far and I’m looking forward to continuing until my wedding. I haven’t seen any major changes in my body, but I feel a little stronger and I feel a lot happier. That sounds weird, but it has been a wonderful stress release.
In the words of Elle Woods, “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t shoot their husbands, they just don’t”
I’ve gone to the 30 minute express class several times on my lunch break and it’s great to take time in the middle of the day to unplug, let out some energy and take my mind off of work. Now that I have the hang of the class routine and I have a routine myself of going three times a week, I am excited to see how my body changes within the next month of classes.
