It’s no surprise that I am a pen and paper type of girl. As much as I love my phone, when it comes to keeping track of thoughts, notes or ideas, I find that a good old-fashioned notebook is what works best for me. I keep a small notebook and pen in my bag with me at all times. Whether it’s writing down blog post ideas, Junior League notes, or anything else that pops up, it is helpful to have this with me on the go. The one pen I always keep in my bag is the Zebra Sarasa® Grand Gel Retractable Pen.
The One Pen I Always Keep In My Bag
I am actually a major pen snob. I blame my dad for this. My dad is the ultimate pen collector and really takes pride in quality pens. When I started high school, my dad bought me a really nice pen and told me that if I graduated high school with it without losing it, that it would prove how responsible I was. He then bought me another nice pen before I started college. With that being said, I am very picky about my pens.
What I love about the Sarasa Grand is that it’s sleek and stylish while still being very affordable. Zebra Pens are different than your typical pen because of their quality compared to others I’ve used. Unlike the expensive pens my dad used to buy me, the Sarasa Grand is perfect for every day on the go use. Check out more information here to see how you can Choose Different.
I always keep one in my bag and one at my desk at work. The metal barrel makes it sleek and professional-looking while also adding nice weight to the pen. Because of the metal barrel, I find that it sits nicely in my hand, as well as glides on the paper so smoothly.
I recently went to Dallas for work and only took one pen with me…the Sarasa Grand, of course! I knew my day was going to be jam-packed in meetings but that I would also need to work on Thrifty Pineapple stuff at night. In the past, I would bring my bag full of pens “just in case” but now that the Sarasa Grand is my trusty go-to I threw it in my bag and was set for everything ahead of me.
I travel quite a bit for both work and my blog, and I am constantly writing down ideas or meeting notes on the go. It’s so important to me to have a pen that is reliable. There is nothing worse than your pen fading out or skipping while writing. Both my 9-5 job and my blog are fast-paced and require quick action items or last-minute requests, so having a reliable pen is very necessary, especially when I am traveling or I have to pull into a parking lot to take a phone call and quickly jot down notes.
On a daily basis, I reach for the Sarasa Grand for use in my planner system, work notes, my personal journal, and Junior League meeting takeaways, and so much more.
Thanks again to Zebra Pen for sponsoring this post!
