Summer is here, or at least it feels like it. I do love the warm weather, but dressing for it can be a challenge. My style is pretty conservative and modest, so finding shorts long enough or tanks not too tight is a struggle.
I have this weird thing where I don’t like to wear tank tops and shorts together because I feel too exposed. I will typically wear a tank and jeans or shirts with sleeves and shorts. Does anyone else do this?
I also opt for dresses quite a bit in the summer because they easy and breezy and I can still feel covered. Although being modest in the summer is not typical in society I do try to cover up and be conscious of what I am wearing.
This seersucker tank from Duffield Lane is perfect for summer because it’s a lightweight breathable fabric and looks great with jeans. The scallop hem with the dark jeans make it really pop!
I paired the top with some fun earrings, gold wedges and a bright colored embroidered tote. Since this top is pretty simple and a basic color, I love adding pops of color to make the outfit even more perfect for summer!
That top looks beautiful on you! I love the scalloped bottom! I also like that even though it is a tank it has some sleeve to it so you shoulders aren’t exposed – I tend to dress modest in the summer too.
