I’ve worn this outfit a couple times now and, let me start by saying white after Labor Day does not apply any more. It is 2016 and you can whatever you want whenever you want. In fact, I think I have worn my white jeans more in the last couple weeks than I did all summer.
I love this outfit because it is pretty outside of my comfort zone. I feel very “J.Crew” in it. I channeled my inner Jenna Lyons and paired this classic blue and white button down with the cheetah belt which is an unexpected color combo and pattern with this top. I also opted for my dark flats with the white jeans which I normally would’ve opted for my nude flats since the belt was so bold.
With a few styling techniques like the “J.Crew” sleeve roll and the half tuck, it made for a very lived in look. It doesn’t all match but it all goes and coordinates well with each other. Don’t be afraid to try something new with your outfit. Fashion is supposed to be fun!

I’ll often times style it with a front tuck or an asymmetrical tuck for a more laid-back look. I will almost always wear them with the “J.Crew roll” which is a trendy more styled way to roll your sleeve. (read more here) […]
