I had been eyeing this silk scarf from Tuckernuck for several months now, after thinking long and hard about I decided to finally pull the trigger. I’ve never owned anything like this, but I was really drawn to the pattern and color. Here’s how I like to style a silk scarf.
How To Style A Silk Scarf
Because there is a navy theme throughout the scarf pattern, I paired it with a navy and white stripe tee. The large stripe pattern compliments the paisley intricate patter nicely. I love mixing prints because easily elevates any look.
By finding one common theme and working from there it makes an otherwise daunting task more manageable. Of course, you could with a white tee or blouse and let the scarf be the statement piece. Because of the pattern mixing it feels more styled and put together, in my opinion.
I next went for a bold choice with wide leg cropped denim, the top half felt very classic, so I wanted to modernize the look with this fun trend for summer.
I decided to keep my shoes simple with a nude slip-on heel. I also kept my jewelry simple letting the scarf be the star of the show.
For this look, I just folded it and draped it around my neck, but there are so many things you could do with it. You could make it a belt by looping it through your belt loops. You could fold into a triangle for a more voluminous effect. The possibilities are endless.
