Finding the perfect pair of jeans can be tough! Trying on hundreds of jeans just to find the perfect pair can be a time and energy suck and can also be a total confidence killer. Well not anymore! Below are a few tips on how to find the perfect pair of jeans.
How To Find The Perfect Pair of Jeans
Start with a Brand
Instead of trying on several different brands in several different sizes and being totally overwhelmed narrowing the playing field down to one brand can really bring clarity. One tried and tested brand for me is Democracy Denim. I have a couple pair of Democracy jeans and love them.
Democracy denim jeans have slimming panels, this means they are fitted with a power mesh panels to help flatten and smooth while fitted with ultra-stretch to ensure that the jeans expand where they need while hugging you just right. Decide on the Occasion
Are you looking for an everyday pair or a dressy pair? Will you be wearing it to work or running errands? If you are looking for something more dressy, I recommend investing in a dark pair of jeans. This makes it so easy to transition to several types of events and fits many different looks. If you are looking for something more casual I suggest opting for a light pair of jeans. I like to have one pair of light jeans for every 3-4 pairs of dark denim.
What style do you prefer?
I love my skinny jeans, they are perfect because of the versatility. They can transition from flats to riding boots and work to play so easily. However, I have been really loving bootcut jeans. For a short girl like me (5’2”) I’ve been loving my pair boot cut jeans styled with wedges to really elongate my legs and give off the illusion I’m 5’9”.
Deciding on the occasion can also come in handy when deciding on the style. A boyfriend or girlfriend jean may not be as work appropriate as a straight leg or skinny jeans.
