A few weeks ago I shared about a coat I’ve had in my closet for years (read about it here), which got me thinking about some of the other pieces I’ve loved for years that still remain in my closet. Another coat I’ve had in my closet for a long time is my camel city coat from J.Crew Factory. If I’m not mistaken Jared got me this coat one year as a gift. I thought it would be fun to see how I style my camel coat in my everyday life and how I’ve styled it in years past.
How I Style My Camel Coat in Everyday Life
What I love about this coat is the style and shape are timeless and the color is neutral so it goes with everything! It pairs well with navy, black, white, truly anything.
I also love that this coat is STILL available and is currently on sale for under $100! I’m wearing my normal size 4 and it fits perfectly. I’ve noticed sizes go in and out of stock so if you’re size isn’t available right now keep an eye on it! Just a few days ago they only had size 0 and now it’s restocked in practically every size.

2022
This year I’ve been LOVING draping this coat over my shoulders, partially because it doesn’t get that cold here in Houston but also because it looks so chic. Whether it’s a dress or pair of jeans draping the coat just looks effortlessly styled.
2021
I love to style this coat in an all-neutral look for a winter look. A cream sweater balances the camel so nicely and I love it paired with some blush snow boots (blush in my opinion is neutral).
2020
In 2021, this coat didn’t get much love since I wasn’t really going outside, but right before everything hit Jared and I took a trip to Chicago for Valentine’s and this coat was a lifesaver. I felt city chic but also really warm and it is perfect for layering underneath!

This look is the perfect example of how this coat works with everything! I had this outfit picked out with these fun pants and it was freezing when were taking these photos so I threw on the coat and it actually looks so great!
Because of the silhouette, it works great dressed up as I did below or casual as I did above.
2019
This was the first year with this coat and it got so much love but this is yet again another example of how it works dressed up or down!
This coat is truly a staple in my closet and something I reach for almost daily in the colder months. Although a lot of are already shopping for Spring snagging this coat while it’s on sale is something I promise you won’t regret!
