Dressing for the office doesn’t mean that you can’t style these pieces for play. In the next few workwear blogs, I am going to show you a few day to night outfit options.
First up is this red tank that I found on mega clearance in store at LOFT (read more about tips and tricks for shopping at LOFT). I love this tank because the red is a little unexpected at the office and because of the cut it looks great on it’s own and with a blazer. Because of the high neckline and peplum style it adds more details to an otherwise simple tank.
For the day look, I added a blazer on top for a polished professional look. Since my work environment is business casual, I went with my favorite high waisted skinny jeans and then my go-to loafers. All of my accessories are work appropriate with minimal flash like pearl earrings and a watch.
For night, I ditched the blazer and kept the same jeans. I swapped the loafers for some fun wedge espadrilles. I also switched out the minimalistic accessories for a statement clutch, hoop earrings, and flashy gold bracelets.
This look transitions so effortlessly and is perfect from office to happy hour or work presentation to date night.
