Dressing for the office in the summer can be tough. It’s blazing hot outside, but likely an ice box in your office…the constant summer struggle. Fridays are a day that you can dress a little more casual especially in the summer. Your co-workers are likely on vacation or taking some PTO while it’s slow in the summer months before the craziness of holiday hits.
One fun way I like to bring a little bit of summer into the office is with a pop of color. These pink trousers from Target are a super fun way to brighten up your workwear. On a Monday, you could easily throw on navy blazer and blouse with nude heels and you’d be ready to conquer the work week. On a Friday, throw on a comfy tee with some mules or sandals and you’ll be weekend ready!
That’s exactly how I styled them for this look. This white tee with eyelet detail is comfy while still being office appropriate. I reach for my gold mules daily because they are super comfy and add a glam chic to any outfit.
I like to keep my wrist wear simple for work because there is nothing more annoying to me than bracelet clacking on my desk while I’m typing. I pretty much always wear a watch so I can keep track of time during meetings or calls. This silver and gold watch is perfect for work because it’s classic, simple and goes with every outfit.
And of course, my Barrington St Anne tote is my everyday work bag/purse. I can tote around my planner, notebooks, water bottle and anything else I need and easily grab it when I head out for lunch.
What’s your go-to casual Friday look?
