One my closet staples is a white t-shirt. I think total I have about 10 that I rotate between, which seems extra but they are so versatile and super easy to dress up and dress down. Below are 4 ways to style a white t-shirt with four different casual looks.
For all of these looks, I’m wearing jeans and pending the top accessorizing from there. Although I have about 10 different white tees they all vary by some degree whether that’s fabric, fit or details.
4 Ways to Style a White T-shirt
1. With trousers tucked in
For this look, I tucked in my shirt completely into a pair of lightweight chambray trousers to showcase the bow. By a full tuck, it really sophisticates the look. Because it is summer I added a small wicket bag with a neutral shoe and sunglasses.
This look is casual and simple while still looking put together and stylish.
2. With a cardigan
Although this is technically a tank top, I think it still holds it’s own with the other three outfits. The whole look of this outfit is minimalistic and chic. The length of the cardigan really elongates the body and the front tuck still gives shape without feeling like a sack of potatoes because of the cardigan.
This was a look I wore to the office for a more casual look. With summer pushing up the sleeves is a necessity, but I added some simple multi-colored beaded earrings and pink neutral block slides.
3. With wide leg jeans and a statement bag
With basic pieces like jeans and a white t-shirt have a statement can really elevate the look. This colorful Barrington tote with floral neck scarf ass the perfect pop of color.
The wide leg jeans make the outfit look trendy and chic. When I get a piece that is a little outside my comfort zone, I love to style it with basic pieces until I feel more confident branching out.
4. With a belt and front tuck
Lastly, a very simple look. This lace flutter sleeve top adds a nice detail to an otherwise basic item. I wanted to let the top shine, so I added a cognac colored belt with similar color loafers and added a light pink earring to tie it all together.
I love a front tuck because it easily adds a more stylized look
All of these looks are effortless and casual and can be worn so many different ways.
