This dress is absolutely perfect for this fall transition period because it feels like a t-shirt material but looks professional and with the color options and styling, it can be perfect for warm fall days.
This dress also features pocks but they lay really flat and hit in the perfect spot to blend right in. A lot of times when fitted dresses have pockets they are a no-go for pear-shaped women but these are perfectly placed and don’t stick out at all.
Because it is a rayon polyester blend and a little more fitted I did size up to a medium because I was worried about it being too tight as well as shrinking in the wash. I am really glad I sized up and because it’s similar to a t-shirt material it’s very flexible on sizing. It also is extremely comfortable to wear.
You can also see (in the photo below) it isn’t too short or doesn’t ride up or show too much when you sit down which is really important if you have a desk job or attend a lot of meetings.
I feel so confident in this dress and I am not typically the type to wear tight or more fitted things especially to the office, but this dress just hits all the right place and I absolutely love that it has sleeves!
I went with the navy and white stripe option and really let the dress be the star of the outfit by keeping my shoes and accessories simple. I am a stickler on closed-toed shoes in the office so my favorite navy flats look adorable paired with this and I keep my jewelry simple with my everyday gold bracelets, initial necklace, and subtle earrings.
I grabbed my favorite work tote, the Barrington St. Anne Tote, of course, with some navy accents to tie the whole look together!
This look has become my go-to throw-on-and-go work outfit when I sleep a little too late or think I have nothing to wear in the mornings.
