Last Sunday, Jared and I spent the day at the Dallas Market and exploring Dallas. I worked in Dallas for a summer, but as a Fort Worth native, I don’t make it to that side of the Metroplex too often. For those of you unfamiliar with the DFW area, it’s about a 45 min to an hour drive from Fort Worth to Dallas depending on traffic.
I picked up this neon romper from Retrospection a couple of weeks ago and I was looking for the perfect occasion to wear it and the Dallas Market was it. The high of Sunday was somewhere around 105, so I kept everything pretty simple when it came to accessories.
There was a plunging neckline and I’m pretty conservative, so I wore a lace bralette under it and also chose to safety pin the opening. The neon pops in the summer heat and really showcases that summer tan.
I’m heading back to the Dallas Market next weekend for the women’s show, so let me know if there is any brands you want a sneak peek of and don’t forget to check out A Gentleman’s Providence for a preview of upcoming menswear lines.

I cannot even begin to describe how much I LOVE your romper!!! OMG so beautiful! I just recently did a post on decorating with florals – I’m obsessed with floral patterns lately! This is so gorgeous – perfect summer day look! : )

I was so lucky to stumble upon it at Retrospection. It was the only small left! It was a definite no brainer when I tried it on. Florals are so perfect for summer!
