Our Christmas Eve tradition is going to our Christmas Eve service, usually candlelight, and growing up we would go to a Mexican restaurant for dinner, but last year Jared and I started a new tradition of a Honey Baked Ham and all the works. I love Christmas Eve services because well I LOVE Christmas music, but I also love getting all dressed up.
Until recently I’ve never been big on wearing the color red or bright green, so when it comes to holiday attire I like to keep things simple and add a touch of festivity to my outfit with accessories whether with a clutch or statement earrings.
What To Wear for Christmas Eve
These high waisted pants are quickly becoming a statement in my wardrobe. I love how they can be dressed up for a party or church or transitioned to wear to work.
To keep things neutral, I went with a beige turtleneck sweater so I could let the statement earrings and clutch stand out. I also love the balance of the fitted sweater with the voluminous pants.
The festive element of this look is obviously the clutch. It really puts the outfit over the top and the tartan print adds a touch of Christmas to pull everything together.
When it comes to the holidays you don’t have to go all out. Just add a few pieces to your normal wardrobe and you’re ready for Christmas!
