The hottest summer trend this year is fruit. Whether your wearing fruit printed shirt like I am or you’re soaking in some sun on a giant pineapple pool float, you’ve probably dipped into this trend on some capacity this summer.
When I saw this lemon printed “shell” at J.Crew over the weekend I was instantly attracted to it. I was a little hesitant because normally I don’t go for tight things, but I really like it. It’s a very lightweight sweater material, so it could even be paired under a blazer for a summer workday outfit.
For a simple summer look, I decided to pair with a classic dark denim short and my go to sandals. I decided to spice it up a little with a cheetah belt, which is a little unexpected but I firmly believe that cheetah is a neutral and goes with everything!
