Easter is only 26 days away and pending the cultural climate we may or may not be having our typical Easter service. Easter is one of my favorite holidays – my two favorite holidays are actually Thanksgiving and Easter. With that being said, with or without the church I will still be rocking a new dress, it’s one of my favorite traditions I’ve done since I was a little girl.
Overall I would consider my style conservative, you won’t catch me dead in a crop top. I actually have this weird rule about tank tops and short that you can read more on here. But when it comes to church I am always very aware that it needs to be church appropriate (probably growing up a Pastor’s Kid this was ingrained in my brain). This year I found the perfect conservative Easter dress and spoiler it’s under $50.
The Perfect Conservative Easter Dress
A trend I am really seeing this Spring is midi length dresses. They’ve always been around but they’ve really taken over this Spring. Don’t worry if you are petite like me you can still totally rock the midi – see some of my tips here. A midi-length dress for Easter is perfect because it’s on-trend and modern but still conservative for church.
I really love the pleating detail in this dress that adds a ton of movement to the dress. The tiered layers are also another great detail to add movement and flow.
This sweet pastel floral pattern just screams Easter and Spring to me.
Lastly, I don’t love showing my shoulders in church (I know, call me old fashion), but it just feels weird to me. I love that this dress has sleeves. They are sheer but still add quite a bit of coverage which makes it perfect for church.
Two Ways I Styled This Dress:
I paired this dress with a simple blush strappy heeled sandal, simple gold Kendra Scott earrings, and a wicker bag. This look is simple, but feminine and modern yet conservative all at the same time.
For this video, I also swapped out the fabric tie for a ratan belt and more of a statement wicker bag with bright pink tassel earrings.
Even if you are stuck inside going to church digitally on Easter, you should still invest in a new Easter dress for yourself. It will definitely lift your spirits and help get you in the Easter mood.

I am hoping we can be in seats for Easter too, but it’s not looking likely. I might be wearing my new dress on my couch watching a live stream. I hope you are staying safe!
