Dressing for work in the summer can be difficult, it’s typically hot outside and cold in the office with A/C blasting. I wanted to share some summer workwear outfit inspiration to help you in your 9-5.
It feels like my social calendar has ramped up lately with it staying light outside longer, I am finding my evenings being jammed back with happy hours, book clubs, dinners and more. Most days heading to an event straight after work or if I’m lucky swinging by the house for 10 minutes.
So I paired the same work pants with a casual top and fun accessories to show you how I would take this look from day to night.

I love mixing stripes and florals in my casual style, so I thought I would experiment with this bold print mixing in my workwear with these stripe trousers and floral top. I really love how it turned out!
Since I kept the same color palette of navy and white with both the strips and florals they pair together really nicely. As always, I did a front tuck to give my body a little more shape since the top could be pretty boxy with the loose trousers.
I always like to wear a block heel to work when I have important meetings or presentations because I feel like it just gives me a little extra confidence. I love these cork heels because it’s neutral yet still has texture and they are extremely comfortable while still being work appropriate.
I kept the accessories simple with tortoise stud earrings and gold chain bracelet.

To make these pants more off duty appropriate I went with a monochromatic look with a basic top and statement shoes.
I love this navy tank top because it’s a basic piece that could be dressed up or dressed down. I love the knot detailing on the straps.
These shoes are EVERYTHING! These pom poms are giving me life! I also swapped out the gold chain bracelet for a rope cuff bracelet for something more casual. I think this look is simple yet sophisticated. This would be perfect for a girls night happy hour or date night.
