Statement earring are so hot right now. They’ve been on trend for the last couple seasons and they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Although big flashy statement necklaces are still popular, they are definitely dated. I find myself constantly reaching for statement earrings but rarely grab my flashy necklaces.

I love a statement earrings styled any way, but lately, I have been loving wearing my hair in a high pony and truly letting the earrings stand out. But styling these big bold earrings can be daunting so below are some easy tips to help you style your statement earrings.

1. Pull Your Hairback: Like I mentioned, I love to wear my hair up when rocking a statement earring. This lets the earring truly steal the show.
2. Keep Your Outfit Simple: If you are unsure about how to style a statement earring, I recommend starting simple. In this outfit, I went with a plain white sweater and booties and let the earring be the eye catcher.
3. Think Neutral: If you are looking to purchase your first pair of statement earrings, I recommend starting neutral. Pinks and other colors are fun to buy but can be pretty tricky to style and you’ll likely get less wear out of them since they are so bold. I recommend sticking with gold, silver, white, black or other neutral colors for your first pair.
