I don’t think I could call myself The Thrifty Pineapple if I didn’t visit the iconic pineapple fountain in Charleston, SC. I almost had an issue, but luckily it worked out for the best. See what happened here. I got a small taste of Spring weather while in Charleston and I was ALL about it. I decided to bust out all the spring looks and soak in the sunny and 75-degree weather.
This pink and white stripe dress from Duffield Lane just screams warm weather. The silhouette is classic but the scalloped hem adds a modern detail. The best thing about this dress is that can be easily dressed up for date night or dressed down for errands or work.
I’m all about being honest with y’all, so I’d be lying if I told you I walked around the cobblestone streets in these wedges. What’s not pictured is the flat sandals, denim jacket, and tote. As the sunset, it became a little chilly, so I had a denim jacket ready to throw on. I also learned that walking on cobblestone streets in wedges is a good way to twist your ankle and, of course, to carry all of my transition pieces I had to have a tote.
Long story short, this dress looked just as cute with sandals and a denim jacket as it did with wedges and a wicker bag.
Such a lovely picture! That dtess is darling and looks so pretty on you! Happy Friday! xAllie http://www.theallthatglittersblog.com
