The number one trend of fall is cardigans. Cardigans were so popular when I was in high school. I had one in EVERY color and wore them every day, well they are back and bigger than ever. The cardigan trend has come back with a slight twist. It took notes from the duster trend of the late 90’s/early 2000’s.
Long cardigans are now the item of fall. I have a feeling this trend came back longer due to the ever so popular leggings trend. The longer the cardigan and the more acceptable it is to wear with leggings.
I have dipped my toe in the water of this trend. I like cardigans, but depending on the outfit I sometimes feel like a teacher.
To stray away from the teacher vibes, I chose to style this blush/taupe cardigan with a white tee and jeans. (I’m not much of a leggings girl.) I also went with a front tuck and layered jewelry and because I am in love with my new updo I topped it off with a funky hairstyle.
