I recently picked up this navy eyelet midi dress from Walmart and thought it would make the perfect Spring staple dress. It can easily be styled so many different ways, as I did here. Keep reading to see how I styled this navy midi dress 3 ways.
Navy Midi Dress Styled 3 Ways
For only $25, this dress is a total score. It’s a great midi length so it’s a great conservative length. It comes with a slip underneath, so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through AND comes with pockets…yes, pockets! It also comes in 6 other colors that would be perfect for Spring/Summer or Easter!
I ordered a small and it runs true to size! I’m also 5’2″ for length reference. If you are a short girl like me, you can totally rock a midi-length dress (read more tips here).
Casual
Casual looks are what I live in, so naturally, I had to figure out how to dress this look down. I first started with my favorite keds. I then went with a casual denim jacket and lastly, a fun backpack. These simple three elements can easily dress down any look.
This casual look would be perfect for the Farmer’s Market, brunch or shopping with the girls.
Work
I love a fun colorful silk scarf in the Spring, it adds so much color to the look but also adds a layer of warmth in the office if needed. I just draped this one on in no particular way and then added a neutral sandal heel with some simple gold jewelry.
For the last accessory, I added a wicker bag which is also a Spring must-have for me.
Date Night
For the date night look, I kept the styling pretty minimal with an embellished headband, a simple navy clutch, and some gingham espadrilles. I love the simple monochromatic blue look to really let the dress be the main focus. I also added some stacked gold bracelets.
Each of these looks are simple, yet totally achievable for the everyday woman. No matter what’s In your closet or what you purchase it should serve multiple uses, so whether it’s this dress or another I hope this inspires you to take a simple dress and style it for more than one occasion.
