This blog is LONG overdue but I feel like it will still be helpful. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll notice that I tag all of my posts with “@liketoknow.it http://liketk.it/2phhM #liketkit”. This little string is super helpful, it allows you to be able to shop my Instagram posts easily.
First you have to create an account with Like to Know It then when you like my posts on Instagram you will get an email with all of the details sent straight to your inbox within 5-10 minutes of liking the picture. If you miss an email, you can always go directly to the shortened link and get all the details there.
When you get an email it will look a little something like the image below. This will make it super easy for you to recreate a similar look or find a particular item of mine you really like. I personally use this feature to find out what some of my favorite bloggers are wearing.
Now Like to Know It can be a hot topic, if you are like my mom, roommate or sister you don’t want to sign up with Like to Know It because you don’t want emails bombarding you phone. I get it, I totally do! One super easy trick to make sure you aren’t getting more emails than you want is to edit your preferences. I feel like this is a feature that goes underutilized, but can be a total lifesaver. You don’t even have to get the emails if you don’t want to and you can just go to the website and browse there.
I choose to get mine daily so I can look all my likes for the day at once instead of getting individual emails for each picture I like.
If you are still hesitant to sign up, you can always find all the products I’m wearing in my Instagram Wrap blogs every Saturday. In the post, I break down each Instagram picture to make it shoppable. I want to make it as easy as possible for y’all to get similar looks. I know how frustrating it can be to see a super cute top on someone’s Instagram and spend forever trying to find it with no luck. The last way you can shop my Instagrams is by clicking the button at the top of my site that says shop. Hopefully with these three strategies it’ll take the leg work out of it for you.
