The holidays are upon us and with the holiday’s comes holiday parties Friendsgivings, office parties, New Year’s parties, etc. Holiday style can be as simple or extravagant as you want. I love glitz and glam, but sometimes you just want to be comfortable so you can pig out on champagne and puppy chow. Am I right?
When it comes to holiday style, keep it simple, don’t over complicate it. Today, I am showing you how you can pull together a holiday look from things you probably already have in your closet.
If you are lucky enough to root for Alabama, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, etc. then you probably already have red/maroon earrings or statement jewelry in your closet. A few posts back, I styled these earrings for gameday, but since I already have them in my closet I took these game day earrings from Lisi Lerch and styled them for a holiday-ready look.
I let the earrings be the star of the show and paired with a white blouse. This top makes a big statement with it’s bell sleeves, but a similar look can also be achieved with a simple white button-down (which is almost exactly what I wore last Christmas Eve – see that look here).
To keep with the simplistic theme, I opted for a black skinny pant with a zipper in the back. I finally topped the look off with a little glitz with some gold loafer slides. Metallics are an easy way to dress up any outfit. Just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean you have to wear heels, these metallic slides are dressy but also comfortable!
