I have never felt like an emoji more in an outfit than this dress! ??? This sassy off the shoulder floral maxi dress isn’t my typical style, but I love it for summer and for the right occasion. I could see myself sipping wine at Nappa in this dress or dinner with the girls on girl’s trip.
Honestly, I don’t really like the color red or coral, but this season I’ve just been drawn to it, especially with the off the shoulder floral maxi dress. I think I go through seasons in life where I hate colors and never wear it, and then suddenly have a change of heart and I am ok with it again. I used to hate yellow but now I am more open to wearing it. So if you have colors you refuse to wear I urge you to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new…you just might like it!
I decided to pair this maxi dress with a bold statement earring in blue 1. because I am obessed with statement earrings right now and 2. because the blue really brings out the accent color in the dress to make it pop.
A few posts, I shared tips on wearing maxi dresses for short girls and I definitely took my own advice and wore wedges with this dress to make it the perfect length. Since it hits right at the floor it makes this 5’2″ girl look 5’8″ which I will take any day of my life.
