Since moving to a more traditional corporate work environment blazers have been a staple for me. I love how they can be dressed up or down and ultimately add a boss babe look to any outfit. Here is a closer look at one of my everyday winter outfits for work.
I love this blazer because of the navy herringbone pattern and I love the price even more. I found this gem on the clearance rack for about $40. Total score!
This pattern is a little different from the typical navy or black blazer. I would say invest in those basic pieces first and then branch out for something a little different like this.
For winter, I opted for a navy turtleneck but transitioning into spring I would pair it with a cami or a simple white button down.
I also kept with the monochromatic look and went with dark denim. For a Friday, look you could totally swap out the skinny jeans for light wash girlfriend jeans for a more casual look.
Since it’s been abnormally warm the last few weeks I have been embracing it and reaching for some mules. However, on those colder days heeled booties or riding boots have been a must-have.
And every girl boss needs a girl boss tote. This Barrington tote is my absolute favorite. I love how neutral it is while still be beautiful and having simple details. I carry my planner, laptop and normal purse items in it every day and it still looks brand new!
