Right before the wedding, I went on a little bit of a shopping spree. I hated all my clothes and needed a couple new pieces to get me through warmer weather and that could fit into my everyday casual style. I love to find pieces I can dress up or down and that are comfortable! A lot of the reason you don’t see me in beautiful silk or chiffon blouses is that they just aren’t comfortable.
I am currently wearing this striped ruffle sleeve top while writing this blog from the Philadelphia airport and I paired the same top and jeans with sneakers and pulled my hair in a ponytail. I had my eye on a similar version of this top from J.Crew last season but just couldn’t justify the price, so when I came across a less expensive alternative I added it to my cart immediately.
The ruffle sleeves add an heir of femininity, but the fabric being cotton is very comfortable and very breathable
Again, this top is perfect to be dressed up or dressed down with espadrilles or sneakers. The scarf adds a whimsical touch to the overall outfit and the scarf could also double as a cute purse accessory if you tied it to one of the straps.
And can we just talk about this adorable planter wall for a second? This would be so easy to do and would instantly beautify any boring patio. It would also be adorable on a fence instead of actual siding. I’m going to keep this is my back pocket for when Jared and I buy a house.

Love these summer stripes and bellsleeves. I’m such a sucker for stripes, and have a hard time not buying them! I may have to add this piece to my wardrobe. Perfect for summer!
