It looks like 2018 is going to be the year of travel, which I’m not mad about! With several trips under my belt this year, I pretty much have my travel routine down. My two travel necessities are the Belmont Cabin Bag and a long time fave the St. Anne Tote from Barrington Gifts. The Belmont Cabin Bag is an investment, so I wanted to share a full review.
Carry-ons are a must for any long trip! Mainly because staying under 50 pounds can be very difficult especially if you know you’re going to be bringing back a lot of souvenirs. A spacious carryon can be perfect for holding those heavy items that don’t have to be weighed in your checked bag. I once flew a VERY small prop plane and they weighed my St Anne tote and it was 40 pounds. LOL!
On our last trip I knew we were going to bring back a lot of items, so I packed my Belmont Cabin Bag fairly empty on the way there, so I had plenty of room to spare on the way home. Thank goodness because we went crazy at the Masters/Charleston!
I also personally like to pack some items or an extra outfit in my carry on just in case something were to happen to my checked bag. It’s definitely my Type A personality, but I always want to be prepared. Heaven forbid something were to happen to my luggage, I would have at least a change of clothes and PJs to make it to buy new clothes.
Barrington Belmont Cabin Bag Review
The Belmont Cabin Bag is a stylish spin on the traditional duffel with the option of a personalized touch. It’s crafted in durable, water-resistant Ballistic Nylon with premium Florentine leather trim, it features a modern shape with spacious capacity lined with natural cotton canvas.
The Belmont Cabin Bag also includes sturdy handles, luggage tag, and a detachable shoulder strap — all making it the perfect bag for a carryon.
The dimensions of the Belmont Cabin Bag is 21″L x 12″H x 10″D. I had no problem making it through airport security and even had two flight attendants compliment my bag.
I also love having the matching St. Anne tote to complete the travel style. The St. Anne tote acts as my purse while the Belmont Cabin Bag is my carryon. The perfect travel duo!

Ive been looking to update my old Vera Bradley duffel and these look so cute and nice. I love that they look so durable and aren’t white – why are so many cute duffels cream colored? It doesn’t make any senes! Happy Monday, xAllie

I used a Vera duffel too. I feel like this is the adult version of that! I totally agree everything is cream which is completely unrealistic!!
