Having pieces in my closet that are versatile is important to me. Jared and I live in a one bedroom apartment which means we share one small closet. With two fashion bloggers, that means I have to be VERY strategic in the pieces I buy as well as the constant rotation of items I keep, store and sell/donate. About 70% of my closet is made up of staple items that can be worn in multiple outfits for multiple settings.
The Elizabeth McKay Le Charlot Top might be the most versatile piece in my closet. This classic navy and white floral print is timeless and perfect for dressing up with navy pants for the office or jeans and sandals for date night.
BUT that’s not even the part that makes it versatile. This top has hidden zippers on the sleeve to remove or add the ruffle sleeve detail. It’s two tops in one!
This is so unique and different to me and I haven’t seen anything like it on the market. The short sleeve look is perfect for a simple tee vibe and the ruffle sleeve is perfect if you want to make a statement. Honestly, I’m thinking that every statement sleeve should have this option.
Way to go Elizabeth McKay for thinking outside the box and creating more functionality for girls with small closets.
