Draper James has some gorgeous new fall arrivals, and although we still don’t have many places to go sometimes you just need to treat yourself to new dress to make yourself feel better. The Belted Shift Dress in Berry is the perfect fall Draper James dress.

Draper James’ best-selling shirtdress silhouette is back, new for the season in a beautiful striped berry. According to Draper James, this dress is one of Reese’s favorites silhouettes and if it’s good enough for Reese it’s definitely good enough for me.

I love belted shift dresses because they are flattering on every body type or shape. I love that you can wear them with or without the belt depending on what shape you are feeling that day. For a more structured look, tie the belt in a perfectly poised belt and for a more casual relaxed look.

This dress is 99% cotton and 2% spandex so it’s relatively thin but great for these transition months and very easy to layer with a cardigan or denim jacket. It does easily wrinkle but I think that’s something that is expected with style of fabric, however, it doesn’t bother me.

I styled this dress with some simple brown booties to complete the fall look. I also kept my jewelry pretty minimal with some tortoise hoops and a gold ring.

With a dress like this I really like to keep things simple so I don’t overwhelm the dress and let it shine on it’s own.

Lastly, I accessorized with the Draper James Leather Round Saddle Bag. This is my first Draper James bag and I am very impressed. This is definitely an investment item but it’s 100% leather so it will last for years to come. This shape is iconic and has equestrian touches which is definitely perfect for fall.

The neutral color is perfect for every outfit and I love the wide strap to make it very comfortable to wear both on one shoulder or crossbody. Lastly, I love love love that it has a clasp closure to keep everything safe and tucked away.
