It’s officially September which means it’s unofficially fall right?! However, the weather is still warm so I wanted to share another great investment piece for this in-between season weather.
Summer To Fall Transition Pieces – Chambray Top
Chambray tops are great because they can be worn so many different ways and styled on their own. I like to opt for a lighter shade of chambray top when I am shopping because it looks great with both white and dark denim. When layering denim on denim you always want to make sure you have different shades otherwise you are going to look like Britney and Justin circa 2001.
I actually paired this chambray top with these gorgeous high-waisted bow front green chino pants from Vineyard Vines. I love this green color for fall but the chino material is still lightweight enough to keep you cool. Chinos are perfect for this time of year.
I am slowly transitioning away from my open-toed sandals and into closed toes shoes. These leopard loafers were a birthday present and make the perfect shoe for fall. The leopard is a fun pop of color while adding texture.
Lastly, I kept in monochromatic with my new fall St. Anne Tote in hunter green. I love the different shades of green that add depth to the look.
Chambray tops are a great staple piece to wear now and wear later because you layer them under an open cardigan or crewneck sweater or wear on its own.
