Layering is a no brainer when it comes to Fall outfits. One of my favorite ways to layer is with vests. In Texas, it’s still pretty warm, but I’ve decided that it’s November so regardless of the temperature I’m busting my vests out.
Now last year I went a little vest crazy… I think I bought 9. As I said, I went a little crazy. I told myself I wouldn’t buy any this year, buuuut I haven’t really stuck to that. Vests are fun to layer with because they are so versatile. They can finish off a look with something simple under it or maybe add a layered look with a button down and sweater under the vest. When it’s colder top it off with a coat and your torso remains warm.
How To Layer With A Vest
I paired this army green utility vest with stripes because who doesn’t love stripes. I also threw on a cheetah print belt to add a little spice to the look. I know I will be adding some warmth to this look in the upcoming colder months and since the vest is lined with fur it’s perfect for winter and fall.
