It’s Day 2 with Duffield Lane and I’m still pretending it’s sunny and 75 and not cold and 24. This flamingo sweater and old-time soda shop has my warm weather dream feeling like reality. Out of all three looks this week, this outfit might be my favorite. This flamingo sweater is so fun and whimsical, while still being classy and chic. Graphic tees or sweaters can easily be tacky or cheap, but this flamingo sweater is far from that.
When I first opened my Duffield Lane package I was shocked by the fabric of this sweater. It’s seriously the softest thing I have ever felt. I made Jared feel and he was amazed! The fabric contents are 5% Silk, 70% Viscose, 25% Modal, it has to be the silk that makes it incredibly soft. It’s pretty thin, so it would be perfect for the beach over a swimsuit or I paired it with nude undergarments and had no problem.
I complimented the sweater with a pair of multi-colored statement earrings to tie in some of the melon colors from the flamingo. I went with jeans because it’s pretty cold here in NW Arkansas, but shorts will be perfect once warmer hits. I went with my all-time favorite espadrille wedges for a dressier spin, but again sandals will be a no-brainer come warmer weather.
