Blazers are so functional and can be styled for any event and any occasion. I have had a navy blazer in my closet for a while, but was looking to add another one for a little diversity. Jared always begs me to wear blazers because he loves the classic look of them, so he gave me this camel one for Christmas. (He’s all for classic and despises anything trendy)
I wore a blazer to work a few weeks and everyone was commenting on how professional I looked and how I looked like a boss. I think with a blazer comes this automatic air of professionalism, but I also think it can be worn in casual settings.
This camel blazer is such a good transition from my typical navy blazer. It’s extremely versatile. It pairs nicely with prints, but also looks great simply with a white button-down like I did here.
I always forget that I love the classic simple look until I put something like this together. I think it’s easy to get wrapped up in the trends, but I need to remember my true style.
My favorite way to style a blazer is with jeans. I think this is the easiest and definitely the most casual. I also like the look of blazers paired with a dress, but I think jeans are the most functional.
My go-to item under a blazer is a tee, probably striped (see tee look here) or a simple button down like this one. I always go with a front tuck and occasionally a fun belt pending the top.
Since I kept everything pretty simple I topped off the look with a statement earring (shocker) and some cheetah loafers (not pictured). I also added a little print with my floral Kate Spade watch.
When in doubt keep it simple and stay true to you and your style.
