Back in November, the Gordmans thredUp partnership launched and I shared a full try on session of all of the amazing finds I snagged. See more here. I headed back to Gordmans to grab some new to me Spring items and boy was I surprised.
I found a brand new with tags Vineyard Vines top, J.Crew pieces in perfect condition and so many other gems. I was nervous that all the good items were going to be gone days after the collab launched in November, but they are bringing new styles in weekly!! (insert praise hand emoji)
I left Gordmans with 5 name brand pieces for only $53! Holy cow, what a steal!!
Here’s what I got:
J.Crew Sweater Blazer
Old Navy Stripe Top
Loft Tunic
Gap Shell (perfect for blazers and cardigans)
J.Crew Tee
My favorite item I got was the Loft Tunic. This was actually a size large, but I loved the oversize look and ruffle detail on the sleeves and with a front tuck it looked perfectly billowy. You’d never know it was three sizes too big.
Tip: When shopping second hand don’t be afraid to try on items that aren’t in your normal size. Sometimes things shrink in the wash or you can get them altered for still cheaper than buying to full price!
I also scored some accessories from the Gordmans purse department. This brand new C.Wonder crossbody was only $20 normally $68!! I ended up getting it in two colors and the matching wallet. If you aren’t familiar C.Wonder was a brand owned by Tory Burch’s ex-husband. It was a perfect aesthetic of J.Crew meets Kate Spade, but it went bankrupt not that long ago and looks like inventory was sent to Gordmans. Total Score!!
