It’s that time of the year for the third annual Cookie Swap with a few of my blogger friends! I am so excited because this might be my favorite cookies recipe I’ve shared yet! It’s easy and SO delicious! It will be a HIT at your holiday get-togethers!
If this is your first year catching up on the virtual cookie sap here’s how it works…each blogger showcases another blogger and their recipe at the bottom of their post. You will find a photo, the recipe name, and a link to their site. There are 8 total bloggers participating in the virtual cookie exchange, so by the end, you’ll have 8 new cookie recipes this holiday season. I definitely recommend checking out all of the girls to find your new favorite recipe!
Funfetti Christmas Cookie Recipe
This recipe is SO easy and it’s literally 6 ingredients! You can also do this for every season, just switch out the Funfetti mix and add seasonal sprinkles and you’re all set! Overall I think these cookies took me 15 minutes total including bake time!
Funfetti Christmas Cookie Recipe
Christmas Funfetti Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 Box Christmas Funfetti Cake Mix
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Cups Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cups Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cake mix and baking powder.
- In a small bowl, mix the eggs, oil, and vanilla extract.
- Add the egg mixture to the cake mixture and stir until there are no cake mix white pockets. Make sure the batter is smooth and fluffy.
- Fold in the sprinkles until combined and save a little extra for the topping.
- With a mini ice-cream scooper or spoon, scoop the cookie dough onto a lightly greased cookie sheet 1 inch apart. Top each cookie with more sprinkles and bake for 9-12 minutes (they will likely look under-cooked but if the bottom is golden brown you're all set).
- Place on cooling rack and let cool for 10 minutes. This is key to make sure the bottoms don't get too done. Enjoy each bite!
Madison Paige Evans – Gingerdoodle Christmas Cookies
I’ve been Insta-friends with Madison for quite some time. We first connected when I was planning a weekend trip to Tyler, Texas for a wedding and she provided some amazing recommendations since that’s where she’s from.
She’s also a former Miss Texas and a teacher. She has a super similar style to me and has the bubbliest personality. I think you will love checking her out and her cookies look absolutely to die for!
Check out her cookie recipe here.
