I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Frank and Oak Monthly Subscription Box and Y’all know I am no strange to the subscription box services, so I have pretty high expectations. Their subscription service is fairly new, so here are my thoughts after testing it out for a month.
Frank and Oak Review
There are several clothing subscription boxes on the market but what makes Frank and Oak’s subscription box unique from the others is first, they don’t charge a monthly fee. No obligation, no forgetting to cancel and getting charged.
Something that is also very endearing and a big plus for me about Frank and Oak is all of their products are ethically sourced and sustainably made.
“All of our garments are produced by certified manufacturing partners here and across the globe. Our goal is to use sustainable fabrics and sustainable practices throughout our supply chain to make stylish clothes with substance. But this is just the start; we continue to seek out improved methods and materials every day.”
Lastly, everything in your box comes from the Frank and Oak brand, so sizing and quality are all consistent. You don’t have to worry about a hodgepodge box of different brands from a big box retailer.
Here’s How The Subscription Box works
1. Fill Out a Short Style Survey
Unlike other subscription boxes, the Frank and Oak survey is super short, like less than 3 minutes short, but asks all the right questions to get a quality response.
2. Style Box Preview
From there you’ll get a sneak peek as to what is coming in your box. From there you can confirm, customize or skip the month. Shipping is always free. No obligations.
3. Try On at Home Risk-Free
Try on everything at home and only keep what you love with free returns. Need a break? No problem. Skip a month or cancel anytime.
What Was In My Box?
My favorite thing I received in my box was this open front black blazer. I rarely wear black, so I would have never picked this out for myself, but I’ve made so many fun outfits out of this blazer, both dressing it up and dressing it down.
Because of the classic lines and color, you can easily wear this multiple times a week without anyone noticing.
The other two items I received were sweatshirts, which again were not something I would typically invest in. However, I’ve been able to push my self to wear them with more than athletic shorts as I typically would. I’ve loved pairing them with white jeans and a statement earring for a casual Friday or with shorts and sneakers for running around town.
The pieces from Frank and Oak Subscription Box are definitely investment pieces because of the price tag, but with the mission, quality and hand-picked items from a stylist you can’t beat it.
