December is here and the cold is upon us. This can only mean one thing…sweater season! I love sweater season mainly because I can throw on a chunky knit sweater, a scarf and leggings and basically be wearing pjs. The tricky part of sweaters is how to make them look stylish or dressy in them. The perfect way to dress up a chunky sweater is to pair it with fun accessories.
For this look I chose a statement earring from BaubleBar. The pink in the crystals tie in perfectly with the color of the sweater. If this sweater wasn’t a turtleneck, I might have opted for a statement necklace to get the same vibe. I don’t recommend layering on the bracelets because once you put a coat on they won’t be seen anyways.
The fit of the sweater is also very important. The key is to look for sweaters that are chunky, but can also be fitted or flattering. This “tunic” sweater really elongates my body and makes me taller than I actually am.
