What To Do In Denver, CO

I went on a work trip to Denver, CO earlier this month and while my co-workers forgot to tell me they were all leaving on Friday morning I was stuck there until Saturday afternoon. At first, I was pretty bummed because I just wanted to go home and be with my hubby, but there was nothing I could do so I decided to make the most of it.

My first stop on my free day was Patterns & Pops. I have followed this boutique on Instagram for a while now and admired the awesome work they do. (Y’all they have a mobile boutique in a giant truck! Think of a food truck but clothes!) I reached out to see if I could come in and chat and Brittany and Lindsay were the sweetest. I did a little mini try on session in store and they pulled a couple looks for me. They knew me so well, I ended up getting this off the shoulder top they had picked for me. Y’all seriously need to follow them on Instagram…total gram goals!

I then headed to get my nails done because why not? After that, I went over to the mall and walked around, enjoyed a snack of chocolate covered strawberries and of course did a little more shopping.

I then met up with an awesome photographer that evening for a mini blog shoot, because what else would a blogger do to kill time. I found Jenna on Instagram through a couple of Denver bloggers I follow and knew I could trust her. Her style of photography is so me. She did an AMAZING job and was so refreshing to work with. It’s always nice to work with new photographers, they inspire me with new poses and new angles. I’m seriously in love with the photos. Well, check them out for yourself!

Denver was such a cool city with an awesome vibe. I loved Union Station (where these pictures were taken), it had the cutest little shops and restaurants and even a champagne stand. What else do you need in life? If you are heading that way I highly recommend stopping in Union Station, along with Red Rocks and the Cherry Creek Mall.
