A few weeks ago I shared on Instagram that splurged on a new work bag since I am heading into the office again. I wanted to something professional but practical and, of course, beautiful. I came across the Calpak Kaya Laptop Backpack and instantly fell in love. I have been using it for weeks now and I wanted to share my full thoughts in the Calpack Kaya Laptop Backpack review.
Calpak Kaya Laptop Backpack Review
The first week of my job I was using one of my favorite totes to lug everything around. It was working but not super great because if I went anywhere after work or on the weekends I would be constantly taking things out of my bag. When I came across the Calpak Kaya Laptop Backpack It was right up my alley because I could keep everything for work all in one place not have to worry about forgetting anything because I took it out.
I also love that it’s a backpack because I don’t look like a bag lately coming into work with everything. The backpack is sleek and holds everything and then I just have a small purse for every day.
The Calpak Kaya Laptop Backpack really is sleek because it’s faux leather and had a lot of pockets which are mainly on the inside so it still looks polished. It has one large zipper pocket on the outside which is perfect for holding my work badge and masks! Then on the inside, it has another zipper pocket, and two regular pockets, the main compartment, and a half pocket on the back which is great for my planner.
Then it has another compartment with a laptop sleeve that fits a 15″ laptop. You could also fit a folder or put papers in the compartment as well.
The straps are sturdy and comfortable and also adjustable. It also has a sleeve on the back of the backpack to put over luggage handles if you are traveling which is perfect for those work business trips!
This backpack comes in 12 total color options but the navy is my favorite because it looks professional and goes with everything. I really love the unique rectangle shape of this bag because it’s not something you see every day. I also love the braided details on the front and zipper pulls to add a touch of feminine details.

Overall I have been using the Calpak Kaya Laptop Backpack for three weeks now and I can’t see myself going back. It’s easy to grab and go and very professional looking. It’s great for an office or even a college campus. Although, a splurge it’s definitely worth it, and the quality is great so I know it will last me several years.
