Happy Top 5 Friday everyone! Here in Northwest Arkansas things are about to start opening back up again and I’m a little hesitant but also a little excited. Here’s to hoping we can all leave our houses and see our loved ones really, really soon. In the meantime, I hope you guys are staying healthy and patient while we continue to wait this out, and I hope you get a little joy each week from reading the Top 5 Friday posts!
I shared a little about these candles last week on Instagram stories but I actually found out about these from a girlfriend of mine! They are dupes for the Anthropologie candles that you can find at Aldi. There are tons of scents and colors available, and I picked up both the big one and a pack of the little ones. You can get the big candles for only $7.99 and the little ones for $4.99. The little ones would make gifts!
I got the Kendra Scott bracelets a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them! They’re stretchy, comfortable to wear, and I love the touch of purple (my favorite color). They would add a great pop of color to any look! I’m actually hosting a virtual charity event with Kendra Scott on Monday (5/11) and Tuesday (5/12) where 20% of all purchases made will go to the Northwest Arkansas foodbank! These bracelets would be a great thing to shop for and give back to the community at the same time.
Jared and I have been watching this together on Amazon! It reminds me of The Good Place meets Black Mirror. It’s one of those shows that just really gets you thinking. It was also created by a co-creator of The Office, which we love! It definitely makes you think about the future.
I’ve been using this Real Techniques Sponge in place of a regular beauty blender and I have been loving it. It says that it’s for powder but I’ve been using it for everything and it works wonders. It makes my foundation and concealer blend so well together and I find I use less product because it doesn’t absorb as much, either.
I’ve been loving Never Have I Ever on Netflix. It is SO cute. It’s so easy to watch and you never get bored. It also showcases diversity which I love. It’s a teen romance show that was created by Mindy Kaling who is just awesome. I may or may not have finished it all in one day!
I’ve been curious about Never Have I Ever- so glad to hear you like it!! 🙂 I’ll have to check that out.

Ok, making a trip to Aldi asap! I had no idea they even sold candles!
