Happy Friday everyone! I don’t know about you, but it’s been a crazy couple of weeks and I am so glad that it is the weekend. Let me know what your plans are in a comment below!
I have been loving my new popsocket lately! It’s so cute for summer. I love that it is so unique and different from any popsocket I’ve had or seen before. I’m currently doing a giveaway for 5 people to win one of these, so head on over to my Instagram to check it out!
These are my new favorite sweet treat. I’ve been “trying” to eat healthier lately, and for the most part it’s working. However, sweets have always been my biggest weakness. I found these at the store and they are delicious! They taste just like a blondie.
With everything going on in the world, Jared and I really wanted to become more educated about systemic racism in America. We recently watched this documentary and I was shocked about how little I knew and how truly eye-opening it was. I’m not sure how to best describe it, so in Netflix’s words, “In this thought-provoking documentary, scholars, activists and politicians analyze the criminalization of African Americans and the U.S. prison boom.” It is INCREDIBLY eye-opening when it comes to racism and the American prison system.
I love the Sugarfix by Baublebar line at Target and these rings are no exception. They are the perfect price at just $10 and they come in a bunch of different shade ranges, like this pink one and this jewel toned one. I have a feeling that they will sell out quickly! They’re found on a nail polish endcap in the Target beauty section.
Jared finished it on Sunday and I’ve been hanging out, using it non-stop. I even worked on it for a good part of the day on Wednesday. I’m working on a full blog post for this coming soon, but for now, I’ll just say I am thoroughly enjoying our new porch swing.
