I don’t know about y’all but this week absolutely FLEW by for me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for getting to the weekend as quickly as possible, but this week I felt like there was too much to do and very little time. I’m definitely looking forward to having a nice, slow, relaxing weekend!
Top 5 Friday- July 1o, 2020
I mean, DUH! I was dying to watch this on Friday when it was released but I knew I needed to not be interrupted so I waited until we got home from the lake, and holy it was SO amazing! I’m definitely going to watch it over and over again. I do recommend watching with subtitles and doing a quick Google search on Alexander Hamilton so you aren’t totally lost. It 100% lives up to the hype– I even had Jared watch the entrance of George Washington and he was like “ok yeah this is cool I would totally watch it”.
I snagged this $20 hat before I headed to the lake last weekend because I wanted something cute that would protect my face from the sun. I think it is the perfect size, shape, and color. I’m headed to a bachelorette party next weekend and this is definitely coming with me. I have a pretty large head and it fits great!
I have been getting more into spiked seltzers lately, and I’ve found two that I really like! The Might Swell Cherry Lime and the Truly Seltzer + lemonade. I decided to treat myself and buy a skinny can cooler to keep my drinks cold and I am so glad I did! I was able to enjoy my drink in the lake all weekend long.
Erin Condren launched their new back to school collection on Monday (you can read my full blog post on that here!) and included was this acrylic phone stand. It’s the perfect desk accessory to hold my phone and jot down to-do lists. It’s chic and functional and under $20. I love the gold accents and it’s great to see notifications quickly without having to pick up my phone every time.
I picked up this coverup at Walmart on a whim and I am in LOVE with it! It’s a terry cloth material with a zipper. It’s under $20 and it’s so easy to throw on over a swimsuit. I sized up to a medium and I’m really glad that I did!
