I am constantly trying and testing new products, so I thought it would be fun to start a new series called Top 5 Friday. I will share everything from clothing to makeup to books to basically anything I am loving for the week. So let’s get started!
Top 5 Friday – January 10, 2020
This was one of my Christmas presents from Jared and I was so excited when I opened it. I came across this when I was searching for products for the gift guides and instantly knew it was at the top of my wish list. I love adding memories or blog post plans to my Erin Condren planner and this little printer is a game changer.
As I was researching it after I got it, I found out that the Canon Ivy Mini Printer actually uses heat transfer to print instead of ink, so I don’t have to worry about replacing ink cartridges. Additionally, you can make collages or add text/graphics to the photos before you print them. I actually made a collage of four photos and cut them out to use less paper. The photos are also on sticky paper so you can just peel them off and pop them on to paper. I plan to do a more comprehensive review soon, but I got a lot of initial questions so I thought I would share, but so far I am obsessed!
Jared and I are always looking for new podcasts especially when we drive to Texas because we need something to keep us entertained. My sister recommended the Crime Junkie podcast and we are totally hooked. We love crime podcasts, but a lot of them that we listen to are 6-10 episodes long so unless you are on a long car trip it’s hard to finish. Crime Junkie has two girls re-telling different crimes and each episode is different, which is nice because everything is wrapped up in about an hour. The episodes are also labeled by the type of crime so you easily filter out what is interesting to you. If you like true crime podcasts you will LOVE this one!

Pixi gifted me with a giant bottle of Glow Tonic and I’ve been using it in my morning and nighttime routine. It’s a gentle yet powerful toner that makes my skin feel refreshed without drying it out. This is a total game-changer and it’s available at Target for an affordable price.
This coat has gotten SO much wear! Jared got this for me last year for Christmas and I have been wearing it non-stop, so much so that my mom actually got me a similar style in black this year. It’s thick and structured and makes any outfit look chic. I love the high collar and long length and this camel color goes with just about everything!
P.S: It’s on major SALE! (Shop it here)
A weighted blanket was also at the top of my Christmas wishlist and my parents came through yet again and got it for me. I have a 15-pound weighted blanket and I have been sleeping like a baby. It feels like a hug while you are sleeping and is very calming. We got a queen size so it covers our bed, but I am contemplating getting another to keep downstairs on the couch.
I love this post! I think this is something fun to do. A weekly top5 or things I’m loving this week!
Yay! Thank you Cindy!
