These days it’s hard for me to keep track of time, especially when I can’t leave the house! Thank goodness for Top 5 Friday, though, because it’s one of the only things keeping me on track! Plus, I have some great stuff to share this week!
Top 5 Friday- April 17, 2020
Since I’ve basically been living in pajamas lately, I was on the hunt for some cute new ones. This Draper James set is absolutely adorable! I love the gingham print for spring and the material is so soft and lightweight which is perfect for the warmer days ahead. Cute pajamas are my guilty pleasure– I love sleeping in something pretty! These are so perfect for that!
This is so random, but Jared and I are total popcorn snobs. It kind of runs in the family! He took me to the movies on our first date and the first question my dad asked was “Did this guy buy you popcorn?”, so it’s clearly a high priority. My parents gave us this silicone popcorn popper for Christmas as kind of a joke, but we use it multiple times a week. Buying kernels is SO much cheaper than buying bags and we can customize with flavors, too!
I got this champagne flute as a gift and thought it was the most extra thing, but honestly, I love it! I love drinking champagne and prosecco and this is the perfect thing to keep it cold while eating dinner outside. I recently bought a bunch of mini bottles of prosecco so I could enjoy them more without having to waste an entire bottle!
I stumbled upon this show this week and it is SO cute. It’s super cheesy, but it’s a great mindless TV show. I watched it on Hulu but it should be available most on streaming services because it aired on ABC. They just released the pilot, so I am excited to watch more episodes.
We have been using HelloFresh for like 8 months now and LOVE it, but this week our meals were extra delicious. We had Pork Chops with Zesty Green Onion Salsa & Buttery Black Beans over Rice, Tilapia with Scallion Sriracha Pesto over Ginger Rice with Green Beans, and Lemon Chive Chicken with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Roasted Carrots. This has especially been a huge life saver lately because it helps reduce the number of trips we have to take to the store and it’s delivered right to our door. It’s also helped expand our palettes as we are very picky eaters.
