I’ve been testing out a lot more beauty products lately and I wanted to share my top 10 current beauty faves from skincare to hair and makeup.
Top 10 Current Beauty Faves
1. SGX NYC 3-in-1 Dry Texture Spray
I LOVE the DryBar Triple Sec texture spray, but my wallet doesn’t love it. In a pinch, I grabbed this at Target and love it! I use it to add texture to my freshly curled hair or to add a little more life and volume to day 2 or 3 curls.
2. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion
Raise your hand if you hate self-tanner! 🙋I love to look tan, but hate self-tanner. I hate the smell, that sticky feeling, the splotchiness and the orange hue it gives off. I tried out the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Spray years ago and have been swearing by it ever since, but it makes a complete mess and is hard to travel with. I recently switched to the lotion and it’s a game changer.
It’s truly like makeup for your body, it blurs, smooths, and gives you color. It’s supposed to be your legs, but I put it all over my body. I haven’t noticed any visible transfer, but I’m sure it does a little. It’s also waterproof so you don’t have to worry about sweat.
I actually got this body lotion in my FabFitFun box and it’s one of the best lotions I’ve ever used. It gets HOT in the South and I hate wearing lotion because it gets slimy and feels slippery on my legs. This lotion melts like butter and is super lightweight on the skin, not mention how good it smells.
4. Garnier SkinActive Facial Mist with Rose Water
I use a lot of powder on my face which can get cakey real quick after I put all my powder makeup on I give a quick spritz of this facial mist and gives it a nice dewy finish. This reminds of a dupe for the Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray for a lot cheaper. I also use it if I am looking tired for a quick pick me up.
5. Vera Bradley X Gillette Venus Razor
This may shock you but for the past, I don’t know how many years of my life I’ve bought disposable razors. I think that’s what my mom does, so I just always did it too. I recently got this razor and another razor from Target and it honestly changed my life.
I posted a full review of this razor compared to another razor from Target on my Instagram and the performance is incomparable. This Gillette Venus razor has the closest shave, the blades last a good amount of time and it’s super cute! I also really the moisturizing stripe surrounding the blades. I don’t think I can ever go back to disposables again.
It’s taken me a while to find an eyebrow pencil I liked, but recently I’ve been using this one from Rodial which is a UK brand I am really liking it. All of the other brow pencils I’ve tried last me about 2 weeks before I need another one, but I am two weeks in and only about halfway done with this one. Although a little more expensive a little product goes a long way, making it a better deal in the long run.
7. Huda Beauty Demi Matte Cream Lipstick
Color: Mogul
This has been my everyday lip color lately. I put this on every morning before I walk into work and it gives me so much confidence, it’s like the extra pep in my step I need. It’s a creamy non-drying formula that lasts several hours. According to Sephora, “A highly-comfortable, hydrating cream lipstick that sets to a velvety, satin finish that lasts throughout the day.” I couldn’t agree more.
I also really like the applicator, which is a small doe foot applicator with a cut out perfect for your lip. It makes it very precise to apply while still providing good coverage of the product.
I tried this lengthening mascara after several readers suggested and boy, were y’all right! This mascara is so good. The silicone brush really separates and lengthens the lashes.
The combination of the Lash Paradise and the Telescopic is the perfect pair of the length and volume. The Lash Paradise really adds volume to the lashes at the root and makes the appear lush and thick.
10. Pixi Glow Tonic
I’ve looked at this product so many times at Target and never understood what it was. Long story short, it’s a toner.
“Glycolic acid gently exfoliates skin to reveal healthy, glowing skin underneath, while ginseng improves circulation to keep your skin looking great. Aloe vera soothes skin as you tone, preventing irritation that can come from exfoliating. This cruelty-free skin tonic is great for all skin types, and is paraben-free so you can feel good about what you’re using.”
I’m SUPER lazy when it comes to my skincare routine. I normally just wash it in the shower and that’s it. I added this simple toner in and it’s been so good for my skin. I am acne prone, so witch hazel ingredient really helps combat that.

I was curious about a few of the products you mentioned so thank you for these reviews! Going to look for a few of these!! 🙂
