It was a true honor to be invited to Bennett’s Bash. I was amazed by how many people were there in support of Bennett and St. Jude. It was a lovely evening and I was so happy to be a part of the celebration.

The night started off with a silent auction, and oh my goodness, were the items AMAZING! They had great items for everyone! One unique item up for auction, was 4 original Duck Commander duck calls signed by Willie, Jase, Si and Phil Robertson. They heard about Bennett’s story and wanted to be a part and give back in anyway they could. How cool is that?!
One of my favorite things of the evening was the Kendra Scott pull. Kendra donated tons of little yellow boxes. Each box costed $65 but the items inside ranged anywhere from $60 to $200. I picked up two boxes! The best part was all the money went straight to St. Jude. Keep scrolling to see what was in my yellow boxes… I got lucky!
Once we got in the ballroom we had a fabulous dinner and heard from several different speakers like Meg Reavis, Bennett’s aunt and Megan and Ben Coleman, Bennett’s parents. We also heard from Jeff Pearson, Chief Financial Officer, ALSAC/St. Jude, it was truly inspiring hearing the amazing works of St. Jude. There were some tears but so many more smiles throughout the evening. The overall night was a huge success and celebration of Bennett’s life. Following dinner and the speakers, the Aaron Sandoval Band played and we danced the night away.
In total, $98,911.00 was raised for the evening! …wow!!
