Podcasts I’ve Been Loving

Now that I am back in the office full time my podcast consumption has been through the roof. Because of COVID my new office is extremely quiet because everyone has to stay in their cubicles as much as possible. We even have our meetings over the phone to minimize face-to-face time.

A lot of my work is solo work and so to keep me productive I’ve been knocking through podcasts. When I opened it up on Instagram for recommendations I got so many good so I decided to share my faves and some others y’all submitted.

Podcasts I’ve Been Loving

Pop Culture/TV

Bitch Sesh: This is for all the Bravoholics like myself. They talk all things Bravo and even have had Andy Cohen as a guest.

Two Judgey Girls: They break down each Bravo show in details and share their thoughts. They also have a Facebook group that I am addicted to!

The Popcast: I’ve been listening to The Popcast for well over 2 years now and was first introduced to them through a former coworker. They talk ALL things pop culture and are truly hilarious! From Disney to TV to celebs they cover it all! They also do Bachelor(ette) recaps for every season which are VERY entertaining!

The Morning Toast: This was submitted by SO many of you and y’all are SO right! I love it. This millennial sister duo shares the top 5 things you should know before you take a bite out of your morning toast.

Giggly Squad: This was another submitted by one of you and y’all this got me into watching Summer House. Hannah and Paige are hilarious and super relatable.

This Is Paris: I’ve been listening to this on and off but this is Paris Hilton’s podcast and I’m just so intrigued by her.

Armchair Expert: This is Dax Shepard’s podcasts, I don’t love his more recent episodes but his older ones are really good! He was a fascinating perspective on things.

Crime

Crime Junkie: A classic! Truly the holy grail of true crime podcasts. I love that each episode is stand-alone so is easy to jump in anywhere.

CounterClock: This is a series about one case and the storytelling is impeccable!

Business

How I Built This: This is such a good show for entrepreneurs and interviews CEOs of some of the biggest brands from Shake Shack to Dropbox to Drybar. They have tons of episodes too so it’s easy to pick and choose what you want!

Preppy Podcast: This is my friend Patricia’s podcasts and she interviews preppy brands and influencers. I love hearing first-hand from some of my favorite brands like Lisi Lerch, Evelyn Henson, Amy Believes in Pink, and more.

Influencer/Blogging

Blogging Unscripted: This is THE podcasts I’ve probably been listening to the most. I love Danielle’s perspective on the influencer industry and I LOVE that she also works full time and has built a brand with over 250k+ followers.

Her Life By Design: This is also a great one for tactival blogging and influencing skills. Christina does a great job of saying it like it is and providing good tips.

Social Proof: My friends over at Soapbox Influence launched their podcast recently interviewing different influencers and I am loving it. Beth is someone I really trust in the influencer space and I’ve loved hearing from some of my friends like Whoa. Wait. Walmart., Packed Party, and my friend Sarah from the Corporate Mama.

History

Even The Rich: This was one submitted by one of you and I really like it! It tells more of the behind-the-scenes stories of socialites and historical families.

More Perfect: I do NOT like history it’s not my thing and I haven’t enjoyed it. This podcast totally flipped the script for me. They walk through different Supreme Court cases and break them down in an educational but entertaining way. This is probably my favorite podcast I’ve ever listened to.

Very Presidential: Jared and I listen to this together on road trips and it shares the things you didn’t learn in school about the presidents. It’s fascinating to hear how the presidents really were and what they were hiding!

Girl and the Gov: This is a new podcast to me but they break the government, policies, voting, and so much more and tangible ways to easily understand!
